In this game, Adol Christin is a world-renowned adventurer. He wakes up in the barren lands of the Celceta Forest, barely able to remember anything but his name. To learn more about his origins and past, Adol is determined to explore the city he finds himself in, searching for clues that may lead to the revelation of his identity. In his quest, he is joined by a thief who claims to have spent some time with Adol in recent weeks. The pair then set out to explore the diverse and endless Celceta Forest and map its vast expanses. This is a dangerous undertaking, as many other adventurers have dared to explore it but never returned home alive.
Determined to discover more about his past and the cause of his current condition, Adol Christin embarks on an adventurous journey with his companion Duren. As he continued to travel and explore, he met others who also claimed to have seen him before.
