Steel Division 2 is a historically accurate real-time strategy game set in the Eastern Front. Thousands of soldiers are at your command to fight for you and win the war. Eugen Systems is developing and publishing the game. This is the second installment of the successful strategy game Steel Division: Normandy 44. Eugen says that the dynamic campaigns have a high replay value, with 25 new maps, over 600 military units, new graphics, an "optimized combat system" and an updated game engine. Each turn of the game is equal to half a day, allowing users to expand their base while determining their strategy for the next attack.Talented commanders in this game can lead more than a thousand troops to experience the true taste of war. Steel Division 2 also features a 10-versus-10 co-op multiplayer mode. The previous installment in the series, Steel Division: Normandy 44, earned a score of 83 on Metacritic, so it's likely that the sequel will also feature some fun content. Earlier this year, 21 developers at Eugene Systems went on strike for two months over unpaid wages and other issues; however, the strike ended in April of this year, and they returned to work.
